Smoked Salmon Crostinis

Smoked Salmon Crostinis are one of my go-to appetizers when entertaining or just a Friday night at home. They are a quick, foolproof, and crowd-pleasing appetizer. Try them for lunch with a side salad, too. Enjoy!




Olive Oil


Crème Fraîche

Smoked Salmon

Red onion, chopped


Lemon Zest

Lemon Juice

Dill, chopped


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Slice the baguette into 1/4 inch pieces and place on a sheet pan. Drizzle the bread with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Bake in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and cool slightly. Some stores sell Crostinis already made, these work perfectly, too!

On each crostini, add a dollop of Crème Fraîche, then layer on a piece of Smoked Salmon, add another dollop of Crème Fraîche (use this like a glue for the toppings), sprinkle on a few capers, a few pieces of chopped red onion, a pinch of lemon zest, a pinch of chopped fresh dill, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
