Setting the Table: Nuanced Neutrals, Tone and Texture

I always gravitate towards nuanced neutrals, tone and texture. Here I set a table using all of these elements.

The same handmade ceramic vase in different shapes create a lush and low centerpiece. I used two different flowers with different textures, keeping in the same palette, white and green.

In the vases: Star of Bethlehem and Queen Anne’s Lace

On the table:

The vases were created by ceramicist Jane Yang of D-Haene Studio in Brooklyn, New York. They were sourced through Canvas Showroom in Austin, Texas. Canvas Showroom is owned by interior designer, Christina Cole.

Pure Beeswax candles sourced from Greentree Home Candle, a small American company based in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains owned by Jenifer Green.

The napkins were sourced from KD Weave, a Houston-based linens company owned by Kimberly Dorris. This hand towel was handwoven by Karenni refugee women in Houston, Texas.

The glasses were sourced from OKA, British interiors brand founded by Sue Jones, Annabel Astor and Lucinda Waterhouse. OKA just opened their first US store in Houston, and have incredibly crafted furniture and homewares.
